A babymoon is like a honeymoon, but before the baby arrives, and Paris is a wonderful place for one: gentle walks along the Seine, long café stops, and a maternity photoshoot to remember it by. As a Paris photographer, I photographed this babymoon on Île Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité on a sunny evening.

Have you guys heard of baby mooning? It’s like a honeymoon but before baby.. and IT’S AWESOME! Especially from my end because on baby moons I get to meet awesome clients like these two and spend sunny evenings with them celebrating their upcoming bundle of love.

A Babymoon Photoshoot on Île Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité
We photographed this session on the two islands in the middle of the Seine: Île Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité. They are perfect for a babymoon because everything is close together and flat. You get the river, quiet streets, café terraces, and Notre-Dame in the background, without much walking.
