As a Paris photographer, I photographed this Eiffel Tower baby gender reveal during a maternity photoshoot for a couple who came back to Paris with a plus one on the way.

Remember these guys from this post last year? Well they’re baaaaaaaacck and with a plus one!! Well, almost, the little one is still in her belly!
Well, since they came back to Paris I knew we had to see them and of course have a maternity photo session! Kendra had an awesome baby gender reveal idea to use colored flowers! Blue for a baby boy and pink for a baby girl and guess what they’re having!!
How to Do a Flower Petal Gender Reveal in Paris
- Choose your petals. Blue for a baby boy, pink for a baby girl. Keep them hidden in a small box or cup until the moment.
- Pick a spot with the Eiffel Tower behind you. This couple did their reveal at Trocadéro, then we walked through the gardens for quieter portraits. See our guide to Trocadéro sunrise photoshoots.
- Go early. Just after sunrise, the city is quiet and the light is soft.
- Throw, laugh, kiss. The best photos happen in the seconds after the petals go up.
- Repeat somewhere unexpected. We did a second toss in front of a navy blue Parisian door.
