If you’ve been following the KDP blog, you’ve seen these guys before, well, two of them HERE on their babymoon in Nice, France. We had the most amazing maternity photo session in Saint Paul de Vinces and in Nice. And even that is an understatement! And this winter in NYC I got to meet the baby!!!!
Best job ever, right? We get to celebrate family every day, the little moments and the big ones.

If you’ve been to NY anytime in the late fall/winter/early spring, you understand how cold and windy it can get so believe me when I say, this was a seriously cold day. We spent about 20 minutes outside on the Highline doing family photos and made sure that everyone was layered and super wrapped up (yet still looking cute!). We then ventured on over to Chelsea Market which is RIIIIGGGHHHT next to where we were on the highline. It was perfect, we walked into the market and warmed right up! We found a gorgeous spot with beautiful light in an open space that’s usually used for dining, but because the restaurants weren’t open yet, was totally empty. Just for us. Then we proceeded into the market a bit more and found some lovely lights under which we finished the session.
It was honestly so awesome to see these guys again and to meet their little guy! Building relationships like this one is so important to me.. To keep telling their family love story. If I’ve learned anything lately going through my fiancé and I’s engagement, is that love changes and complexities with big life events. You think you love someone so deeply and all of a sudden it somehow gets deeper, more layered. We don’t have any kids yet but I can only imagine that love for each other once you have kids, and for your children is something so different than you’ve experienced before.
