Guide to 9 Best Paris Festivals to Discover in Spring 2025

These days, the air feels fresh, the flowers are blooming, and the city’s streets come alive with events and festivals celebrating everything from food to art, music to literature. If you’re planning a visit to the City of Light in 2025, you’ll find that the festival scene is as vibrant and exciting as ever. With the arrival of spring comes the perfect excuse to find live music, participate in Paris events, and get excited for fashion weeks.

I think it’s hard to keep track of all the festivals happening in a big city like Paris. I’d hate for you to miss something you could potentially love. So I decided to put together a list of all the big festivals happening this spring and summer to keep things simple. That way, you can peruse the list here and find exactly which events you want to add to your Paris itinerary.

Whether you’re a foodie, an art lover, or just someone who enjoys experiencing new things, here are some of the best festivals to explore in Paris this year. And yes, I put them in chronological order!

Top 9 Best Springtime Festivals in Paris 2025
Spring Festivals 2025: Paris Fashion Week

1. Paris Fashion Week | March 2025

Of course, no trip to Paris in the spring is complete without mentioning Paris Fashion Week. If you’re in Paris during late March, you’ll witness one of the fashion industry’s biggest events. From haute couture to ready-to-wear collections, this glamorous week showcases the latest in global fashion. Even if you don’t attend the shows, the streets of Paris are often alive with fashionistas, pop-up shops, and stunning window displays. It’s an inspiring experience for anyone who loves style and creativity.

2. Paris Book Fair (Salon du Livre) | March 21-23, 2025

If you’re a book lover, you can’t miss the Paris Book Fair at the Grand Palais. This renowned literary event attracts authors, publishers, and bibliophiles from all over the world. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet your favorite authors, discover new books, and attend thought-provoking discussions. With hundreds of publishers showcasing their latest works, it’s a paradise for readers and an inspiring experience for anyone who enjoys the world of literature. Even if you’re just a casual reader, the energy of the event will make you fall in love with books all over again.

Best 9 Paris Festivals in Spring 2025: Paris Café Festival

3. Paris Café Festival | April 12-14, 2025

If coffee is your passion, the Paris Café Festival is a must-visit event. Held at the Carreau du Temple, this spring festival is dedicated to the art of coffee. Whether you’re an espresso aficionado or a latte lover, you’ll find everything you need here. Enjoy tastings, attend workshops to learn more about brewing techniques, and explore the latest innovations in the coffee world. With the growing coffee culture in Paris, this is a great event to discover new flavors and learn from the pros.

4. La Fête des Jardins (Garden Festival) | April 2025

For something a bit more serene and nature-filled, consider attending La Fête des Jardins. This delightful event celebrates Paris’s beautiful parks and gardens. It includes special tours, garden workshops, and outdoor activities. It’s a great way to explore some of the city’s hidden green spaces and learn more about sustainable gardening practices. If you appreciate nature and beauty, this event will offer you the perfect mix of Parisian charm and relaxation.

5. Taste of Paris | May 8-11, 2025

If you’ve ever dreamed of indulging in the finest French cuisine, Taste of Paris is your chance to do just that. Held at the Grand Palais Éphémère, this annual food festival brings together the city’s top chefs. And then visitors can taste their signature dishes in an elegant, relaxed setting. From delicious pastries to savory mains and world-class wine pairings, it’s the perfect way to experience the culinary delights that make Paris famous. This prestigious event also offers cooking demonstrations and masterclasses for those eager to learn how to recreate the magic at home. This is the perfect time to have a glass of wine (the world’s most festive drink) at any of the pop-up spots and enjoy the velvet flavors of dishes by our big names.

If this is your first time in Paris, you might die of happiness. Honestly, even if Paris is your second home, you’ll probably still die of happiness. Special events like this are what make spring in Paris so special.

6. Fête du Pain (The French Bread Festival) | May 8-18, 2025

Is there anything better than the smell of freshly baked bread wafting through the streets of Paris? At Fête du Pain, Paris comes together to celebrate one of France’s most beloved culinary traditions: bread. And it takes place in front of the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral! From artisan bakers offering free tastings of their best creations to live demonstrations of baking techniques, this festival is an absolute must for any lover of French cuisine. Plus, it’s a wonderful way to dive deeper into the culture of Paris and its timeless connection to food. I think this is an iconic event to French locals and anyone who understands the importance of bread, haha. I promise you’ll have a great time.

7. Nuit des Musées (Night of Museums) | May 17, 2025

This is one of the most unique cultural events in Paris. Nuit des Musées invites visitors to explore the city’s world-class museums after hours. This is a free event that offers special exhibitions, performances, and the chance to enjoy Paris’s iconic cultural institutions, including the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay. It’s a magical way to experience art and history in a relaxed, festive atmosphere. And you’ll likely avoid the usual crowds, which makes it even more special. One of the best ways to learn about the history of Paris is to go to museums. There’s no excuse not to go when there’s free admission!

8. Paris Beer Festival | May 19-25, 2025

For those who enjoy a cold, craft beer, the Paris Beer Festival is the perfect celebration. This annual event brings together brewers from all over the world, offering you the chance to sample a wide range of craft beers. Whether you’re a casual beer drinker or a true enthusiast, you’ll be able to taste and learn about new brews, attend tastings, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Parisian beer culture. It’s a fun and unique way to spend your time in Paris during the spring. And they have reasonable prices!

9. Fête de la Musique (Paris Music Festival) | June 21, 2025

Although it’s officially a summer musical event, Fête de la Musique is too incredible not to mention. Held annually on the summer solstice, this city-wide music festival fills the streets of Paris with free live performances. From jazz to rock, classical to electronic, musicians from all genres perform on the sidewalks, in public squares, and even in private, unusual venues. The entire city becomes a stage. You can wander from performance to performance, discovering new sounds and soaking up the lively Parisian spirit.

I truly think one of the best things to do in Springtime is go to music festivals. And I know I’m not the only one who thinks Paris has some of the best places to host events. Paris seriously has so many different venues for sports events, cultural event, and special exhibition. The full program will be released soon!

I've been a Francophile since I was in my teens and have always dreamed of coming. I'd love this for my family and especially to be able to relive this special trip everyday on my walls with an art piece! My kids are 2, 5 and 9. Crossing my fingers and toes to be chosen!!
