Choosing the right photoshoot package for your Paris portrait experience doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. At Katie Donnelly Photography, we design our sessions to fit a range of needs—whether you’re here for a quick getaway, a relaxed day of exploring, or a special celebration.
I love working with clients to bring their dream photoshoot to life! And the reality is that every photoshoot looks different, so there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to a professional portrait session.
We welcome families, couples, and solo clients for our Paris photoshoots, which means that some people want anniversary shots, while others want engagement proposal shots, while still others are looking for professional LinkedIn headshots. This is part of the fun of a Paris photo shoot!

how to Start your Paris photo session?
First of all, you’re in the right place! I’m going to provide a clear look at our three photoshoot package options so you can confidently select the one that fits your trip, energy, and goals. So grab a coffee and a comfy chair, and take a look at what we offer! The most important thing is that you have fun while planning this out. We don’t want you to feel stressed about eiffel tower views or making sure you have the best light. Leave that to us! We want you to fully enjoy the city of lights.
We cannot wait to work with you.

1. Mini photoshoot package – Simple and Elegant
- Duration: 30–45 minutes
- Locations: One Paris location (neighborhood of your choice)
- Best for: Solo travelers, couples, or families short on time
- Extras: Artwork and prints selected separately
The Mini photoshoot package is for those who want a streamlined, beautiful experience without over-planning their day. You’ll capture a collection of portraits that feel natural and refined, all within a single, thoughtfully chosen setting.
Insider Tip:
What most clients don’t realize is that we can easily get a variety of backgrounds in one neighborhood. Just because the mini session only includes one Paris location doesn’t mean we can’t find interesting doorways, iconic angles of the Eiffel Tower, and elegant cobblestone streets to be your portrait backdrops.
If you’re flexible on your location, or you have one very specific location in mind, this is an excellent option!
Bonus:
Cafe shots are some of the easiest additions to any neighborhood choice, if that’s something you want!

2. Gold Photoshoot package – Balanced and Relaxed
- Duration: Up to 1.5 hours
- Locations: One to two nearby locations
- Best for: Couples and families looking for a relaxed yet more complete session
- Extras: Artwork and prints selected separately
Our most popular option, the Gold photoshoot package offers balance and flexibility. With time for two close locations, you’ll get visual variety and space to settle into the moment. It’s the perfect middle ground—unhurried, comfortable, and full of personality. This option will give you much more variety in your backdrops.
I think this is a perfect option for clients who can’t decide between two locations and really want to create several different vibes in their photos. If your photo shoot includes more than 6 people, this is the option for you!
This is also a great choice for clients who are keen on an outfit change.

3. Platinum photoshoot package – Comprehensive and Personal
- Duration: Two hours
- Locations: Several Paris locations
- Best for: Anniversaries, engagements, or extended family shoots
- Extras: Includes additional planning support; artwork and prints selected separately
The Platinum photoshoot package is for those who want the full experience. With extra time, multiple backdrops, and dedicated pre-session planning, it’s ideal when you want your photoshoot to become part of your Paris story—an experience in itself, not just a photo session.
I think this is an amazing option for people who really want to take advantage of their time in Paris and our studio offerings.
The Platinum package is also a great idea for content creators (influencers, models, business owners, etc…) who are looking for a lot of photo content in different outfits and with a wide range of backdrops for social media or portfolio work.
Tip:
I would recommend bringing a pair of comfortable shoes for the Platinum photoshoot package. You don’t have to wear them the whole time but you will be on your feet for a longer time, so it’s a good idea. If the neighborhoods you choose are next to each other, we can walk. Some of our popular locations are so easy to access. But often we do end up taking the metro a few stops, so don’t worry – we won’t have you walking many miles or anything!

How to Choose what Fits You Best
Choosing photoshoot packages is like choosing a wedding dress. You have to find the perfect match! Some clients come with a pinterest board of ideas and others come to us with no idea of what they want. And that’s totally okay!
We’re here to provide you with photoshoot locations, the best time of the day to shoot, the best time of the year, peak seasons, the session meeting point, travel time, clear umbrellas if its rains (!), personal style recommendations, and expert guidance for the entirety of your portrait session. This is a special occasion for you, which means we’re pulling out all the stops.
What to consider before finding the photoshoot package that perfectly matches:
- Time in Paris – If your trip is short, go for the Mini Session. With a bit more flexibility, the Gold Session adds depth. For a fully immersive experience, the Platinum photoshoot package gives you time to explore and create your perfect photoshoot. Just bear in mind, all of our Paris sessions are in the morning when there are fewer crowds and we can take advantage of that gorgeous early morning golden hour light.
- Number of Locations – One location works beautifully for the Mini. Two nearby spots are perfect for the Gold. Several distinctive places are best captured with the Platinum.
- Purpose – A quick keepsake? Mini. A relaxed, memory-filled session? Gold. A milestone or special celebration? Platinum.
- Energy and Logistics – Longer sessions involve more planning—travel between spots, outfit changes, timing. If you prefer something low-stress, Mini or Gold might be your best fit. Especially if you have a packed Paris itinerary.
- After the Shoot – Every session includes personalized direction, a mix of candid and guided portraits, and a same-day studio viewing so you can select your favorites with ease.
No matter which photoshoot package you choose, you’ll receive the same thoughtful approach and signature KDP style—elevated, natural, and timeless. We can guarantee you will feel at ease in front of the camera with our KDP professional photographer guiding you. Honestly, it’ll just feel like spending time with a friend!
We specialize in high-quality images that make gorgeous wall art for your home. We also offer albums and prints, if you’d like smaller versions of your portraits.
