As a mom who is always on the go and often exploring new places in my adopted hometown and abroad, these essentials are something I swear by. This list has been put to the test and I wouldn’t dare leave my house without these items!

1. A French Sim Card for your Phone

Being able to use Google Maps and the RATP transit app is essential when going around Paris. This SIM card gives you a French number for 14 days, massive amounts of DATA, and at $28 is WAY cheaper than any US plan.

2. Ergobaby Carrier

Paris with a big stroller is a NO NO. Seriously, the sidewalks are tiny, the elevators barely fit two people in them, and donโ€™t even TRY to go in the metro. We use our carrier almost every day and our daughter LOVES it. I love the Ergobaby because we can put her so many different ways and my back NEVER hurts! You have such great back support AND it easily adjusts so you and your partner can switch back and forth. My husband is almost double my weight and a foot taller than me and it fits us both easily. GETTING AROUND PARIS HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER!

3. An Umbrella

You are not a true Parisian if you donโ€™t always have an umbrella with you! I love this one because itโ€™s lightweight and tiny so it can fit in your pocket or purse!

4. Portable Phone Charger

I donโ€™t know about you but when Iโ€™m out and about for the day I donโ€™t want to be stuck without my phone dead when Iโ€™m in a foreign city.

5. The Paris Pass

I absolutely LOVE this pass. It includes about a zillion attractions (give or take), museums, a full metro pass, skip the line pass, and crazy discounts for your stay here. Itโ€™s SUCH a deal if you want to take on Paris.. especially if itโ€™s your first time here.

Enjoy Paris!!
